with the St. Anton Summer Card
Hiking is top of the agenda in the St. Anton holiday region. So you can explore the region under expert guidance, we offer daily guided hikes. Savour the incomparable scenery on hikes with certified hiking guides from the Arlberg Arena Mountain Hiking School, who are also able to provide lots of interesting information on the landscapes and local history along the way.
Please check our weekly programme extern for hikes dates and please note that sturdy footwear is essential for our walks.

Guided Sunrise Walk with breakfast to the alpine pasture “Ganatschalm”
Get out of bed - it's worth it!
Experience the impressive mountain scenery of Tyrol with a sunrise walk with our mountain guide and enjoy the peace of the early morning nature at a breakfast on the alpine pasture „Ganatschalm“! With a bit of luck, you can observe not only the sunrise but also the native animal world. We take a taxi to the alpine pasture Ganatschalm. From here we hike towards the Mittagspitze peak at the sunrise and back to the pature. A hearty mountain breakfast awaits you here. Afterwards the taxi brings us back to the valley. For the hike good shoes (closed shoes) and poles are required!

Guided Walking Tour
Your mountain guide will explain the right movement and breathing technics, including a light fitness training. The hike leads via "Rosannagorge" up to "Maienweg" to the "Sennhütte", where you have an opportunity for a small break. Afterwards we hike back to St. Anton.
Please bring poles with you. Good walking boots are required!

Guided nature hike
On this hike, an educated herbs-expert will show you our local flora and give you useful tips on how to use herbs and flowers. Please bring poles and drinks/snacks with you! Good walking boots are required! Please note that you will have to use the cable car for this hike!
Guided hike to the alpine pasture "Malfon"
From the meeting point in front of the tourist office in Pettneu the way leads you through the Malfon valley to the alpine pasture Malfonalm on 1687 m. Please bring poles with you. Good walking boots are required!

Guided Mountain Walk along the “Alpenrosenweg”
Enjoy one of the most beautiful alpine path in our region. Our experienced guides will show you the most beautiful spots and tell you about the myths around the region. Please take note: This guided mountain walk is not acceable to childrens buggies. In order to take part to this guided walk you will need two featured activities included in the Summer Card.
Guided mountain walk to the Fritz Hut
This hike leads first through a pine forest, later steeply through rugged terrain up to the Fritzhütte at 1,727 m. Return via the same path or via the Schnanner gorge. This hike is for advanced with good fitness. Please bring hiking sticks. Good footwear required!

Guided hike on the saddle head
Our guide takes you through the woods to the 1,987m high saddle head, from where you can enjoy a great panorama over the whole region. Please bring hiking sticks and drinks/breakfast! For this hike you need solid mountain shoes (we also recommend poles and rain protection). Good footwear required!
Guided hike to the Nessleralm and guided tour "Nessler Thaja"
The hike leads through the forest and across flowering mountain meadows, past the Egghaus - an old farm with a beautiful view of the valley - to the Nessleralm at 1,600 metres. Afterwards, a guided tour of the "Alte Nessler Thaja" awaits you. Our local chronicler awaits you there and tells you about the development of alpine farming. In the "Alte Thaja" (Thaja = alpine dairyman's hut) he shows you the arduous work on the Tyrolean alpine pastures until the 1970s.
Please bring walking sticks. Good shoes required!

Guided sunrise hike on the Gampen
Our guide takes you from the office of the tourist association St. Anton am Arlberg over the district Moos and the Arlenweg on the Gampen. Here you can enjoy the sunrise and the beautiful views of the Stanzertal. After a small refreshment with a breakfast package, the way back is via Thony´s and the hamlet of Nasserein back to St. Anton. For this hike you need solid mountain shoes (we also recommend poles and rain protection). Good footwear required!
Meeting point: 05.00 at the Information office St. Anton am Arlberg
Breakfast: € 11 per person (For organisational reasons, the EUR 11,- must be paid a day earlier before 12 noon at the Information Office of the Tourism Association for a binding registration).

Guided hike on "Bergwaldweg" through Schnann Gorge back to Flirsch
You will walk on a path through the woods until you reach the wild and romantic Schnann Gorge. After passing the gorge you will hike back to Flirsch. Please bring poles with you. Good walking boots are required!

Guided hike on the panorama trail "Galzig"
After a ride with the "Galzig" cable car, you will walk on the panorama trail. Please bring poles with you. Good walking boots are required! Please note that you will have to use the cable car for this hike.

Guided hike on the Tritschalm in St. Anton am Arlberg (every two weeks)
On the Moostalweg, a pleasant mountain forest trail you reach the wild and romantic Moostal and walk along the Moostalbach on a forest road past cows and marmots at 1,725 m to the located Tritschalm. There you have the opportunity to taste fresh products directly from the Alm. Please bring poles with you. Good walking boots are required!
Guided hike to the alpine pasture "Putzen" (every two weeks)
From St. Anton you will hike with your guide to the "Putzenalm" on 1726 m. Please bring your own food and drinks and poles with you. Good walking boots are required!
