Scenic tours for (e-)bikers and hikers

The village of Pettneu am Arlberg has the double attraction of offering easy access to the extensive hiking and (e-)mountain bike area of St. Anton am Arlberg, and the extensive tours into the Malfon Valley and the mighty Hoher Riffler, which stands at 3,186 meters above sea level. Hiking tours to the Nessler Alm also take you back to less hectic times, as the old Nessler Thaja offers an insight into daily life on a Stanzertaler Alm, as it was more than half a century ago and beyond. 

Hikers can continue to climb up to the Adlerweg and the Lechtaler Höhenweg, from where you can reach the Leutkircher hut and the Kaiserjochhaus. Mountain sports enthusiasts are rewarded with breathtaking views that stretch as far as the Allgäu, and those with an interest in all things foodie can enjoy the delicious culinary delights at the huts and alpine pastures.

Access to the Adlerweg and the Höhenweg is also possible via Schnann, and from there you can ascend to the Fritzhütte and further to the Ansbacher Hütte. There’s also an exciting theme path ‘Faith & History’ for young and old around the village,  which follows the development and history of the place and the parish at different stations.

The Schnanner Klamm is characterized by its numerous climbing variants. Both villages are also located on the bicycle path Stanzertal, which is paved all the way through, making it easier for families with small children to set out on this panoramic tour.
