Ulmer Hütte   

The hiking opportunities to the Ulmer mountain hut are varied. You can ascent through the Mühltobel Gorge, past the Sennhütte, to the Maiensee and further to the Galzig mountain station. From here, the the trail leads to the lake on the Arlensattel with wonderful views towards Vorarlberg. Then it goes up the last few meters on an upward road. The hike can be shortened by the ascent with the Galzigbahn. The hike is also a little shorter from St Christoph to the Maiensee and to the Galzig mountain station. Other options are the ascent from Moos that can also take place below the Galzigbahn and through the Steissbachtal (currently closed). The path again leads into the driveway on the Arlensattel. If you want to climb further, you can extend the hike to the Vallugabahn I mountain station. Of course, the route can also be reversed; after the journey to the Vallugabahn I mountain station, you descend to the Ulmer Hütte and return to the valley on one of the signed paths.
